My heart is sick and sad. From where the sun now stands, I will blog about Fendi no more forever.Ok, maybe comparing a handbag brand to a chief of a Native American tribe being chased as he fled to Canada is not the most effective analogue. But it describes how I feel to a tee. I used to like Fendi. Before the bags became hideously ugly, before they hired kindergarten-ers to design their bags, before they turned to bald eagles and polka dots for inspiration, I liked their bags.
The spy bags were usually a sure hit. The baguettes were aesthetically pleasing. Well, no longer. Looking at their current offerings truly does make my heart sick and sad.
So I've instituted a Shannah Style-wide ban on Fendi. (Note: this does not apply to Emilie's posts). I will no longer cover Fendi, unless of course they come out with a consistent string of gorgeous bags.
When I was in seventh grade English I learned to "show, not tell." And so here you go, readers: visual evidence of why this ban is the right way to go. That is all.
